Welcome to Honeybush Swell! These Terms & Conditions outline the rules for booking and participating in our Surf & Soul Retreat. By booking with us, you agree to the terms below.

Booking & Payment:
Payment Options
When booking your spot, you may choose:
- Option 1: 30% deposit

Option 2: 100% full payment
Deposits

The 30% deposit is non-refundable.

Your spot is officially reserved only after the payment is successfully completed.
Full Payment Deadline
If you choose the deposit option, the remaining 70% balance must be paid by 31 January 2026.
If the balance is not received by this date:

We reserve the right to cancel your booking.

The deposit will not be refunded.

The spot may be offered to the next person on the waiting list.
Cancellation & Refunds
Because retreat planning requires fixed accommodation, food, and activity commitments:

All payments (deposit or full) are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person at no additional cost. Please inform us of the name and contact details of the new participant.
If the retreat must be cancelled by us (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances), all payments will be fully refunded.
Personal Data
We collect only the information necessary to process your booking and prepare your retreat experience (such as name, email, phone number, and payment details).
Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
We do not share personal information with third parties except as required to provide the service (e.g., accommodation partners).
Travel & Insurance
Participants are responsible for:

Booking their own flights and transfers

Having valid travel documents

Obtaining personal travel insurance (recommended)
Honeybush Swell is not responsible for travel delays, cancellations, or missed connections.
Retreat Activities
All activities (surfing, yoga, excursions, workshops) are optional.
By joining any activity, you confirm that:

You are participating voluntarily

You are physically capable of doing so

You understand that some activities involve natural risks
We always prioritise safety and will never push you beyond your comfort zone.
Health & Safety
If you have any health conditions, allergies, or special requirements, please inform us before the retreat. We reserve the right to remove a participant from an activity if safety is a concern.
Changes to the Program
Small adjustments to the schedule, instructors, or activities may occur due to weather or availability. We will always try to offer an equal or better experience.
Use of Photos & Media
By attending the retreat, you agree that group photos may be used in Honeybush Swell social media and promotional materials.
If you wish not to appear in any photos, just let us know – we completely respect your privacy.
