Our beachfront villa sits in the local side of town: where surfers, artists, musicians, and creatives meet. It’s the perfect place for anyone who, like us, has always dreamt of life by the sea, a place where nature, adventure, and community make you feel most alive.
During the week, we’ll ride the waves, move through yoga and breathwork, dive into creative workshops, and savor long conversations over a glass of wine as the sun sets, or simply lose track of time on the beach, every moment a chance to connect, unwind, and discover the little gems that make this corner of the world so magical.
On the weekends, we’ll explore hidden coves, stroll through local markets, hike along dramatic cliffs, visit markets, and discover local restaurants with delicious meals, soaking up the rich flavors and vibrant culture of the region.
Our Historic Home in Cape Town
Welcome to Carisbrook House – the breathtaking historic home where our Surf & Soul Retreat comes to life. Built around 1870, this is a true heritage gem, full of character, charm, and stories whispered through its high ceilings and original details. Although historic, the house is styled in a light, modern, and relaxed way, creating the perfect blend of old-world soul and contemporary comfort.
We offer two spacious Premium Triple Rooms, each with sweeping ocean views, generous space, and beautifully high ceilings that make the room feel open, calm, and truly special. For those who prefer something more intimate, we also have two cozy Double Rooms, each with two single beds, located in the quieter part of the house – perfect for rest, tranquility, and soft slow mornings.
Step outside onto our beautiful veranda, the heart of the house. From here, you’ll take in the unforgettable views of False Bay, framed by the majestic Hottentots Holland mountains in the distance. Sunrise coffees, ocean breeze, and golden evenings spent here are pure magic.
